IT Associate is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of operations through the support and maintenance of company’s IT resources and information systems. IT Administrator will provide routine IT supports for users and platform and other IT functions on a daily basis. The person in this position will perform Server, Firewall, Switches and other system and networking duties as well as other technical services such as Desktop, Printer, fax, projector, and other peripheral maintenance. He/she will provide strong, proactive customer service, document standard practices and processes for department and users, and all issues in management system.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Installing, configuring, maintaining, monitoring and Supporting the daily operation of company's hardware & software, system updates and configuration changes, company networks and internet connectivity, server and operating systems as well as routine backups and storage management.
· Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to desktop, laptops, network, routers, printers, Smart Phones.
· Troubleshoot software issues related to Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook and other desktop applications
· Analyzing, proposing and implementing system/network upgrade options and providing support to ensure operational stability, efficiency and security of server systems and network infrastructure
· Investigating, proposing and implementing multi-user data/voice/video systems.
· Negotiating and dealing with various technical hardware/software vendors
· Help with all IT projects and requests, including Move/Add/Change requests, migrations, departmental moves, etc.
· Conferring with management for development of various software and network related programs and other projects for business enhancement
· Remain knowledgeable regarding changes in hardware and software technology
· Willing to work graveyard shift if necessary
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have a Bachelor’s College Degree in reputable University in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology/Management or equivalent field.
· Has at least 1 to 2 years of work experience in IT Technical Support Management.
· Knowledgeable in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
· Demonstrated ability to leverage appropriate technical tools to perform day-to-day tasks, root-cause analysis and service restoration (such as backup, restore, failover, log interpretation, and performance monitoring).
· Proficient in installation and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops and servers.
· Knowledgeable in MS SQL / MySQL
· Proficient in managing Windows 7-10, Windows 2008 servers and other Non-Windows operating system.
· Strong background in Client server management, including Active Directory, Email Systems, Applications and Web.
· Knowledgeable in Local and Wide Area Networking.
· Strong analytical skills to review information and formulate alternative solutions to problems.
· Ability to adapt and stay current with changing technology in both hardware and software.
· Able to operate independently and effectively
· Willing to work graveyard shift if necessary
